The Framework Behind the Facade
Curtain walls, storefront entries, aluminum windows, skylights, and panels

AGA (Architectural Glass & Aluminum) has delivered commercial glass and aluminum installation across the Midwest since 2016. Based in Columbia City, Indiana, and a division of N.A. Holding Corp., AGA is built on meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to getting every project right the first time.
Aluminum is the structure that holds a commercial glass system together. It carries the glass and sets the lines by which the finished building is judged by. AGA’s aluminum services cover curtain walls, storefront entries, aluminum windows, skylights, and panels, each fabricated and installed to the same standard.
Curtain Walls

A curtain wall is one of the most visible aluminum systems on a commercial building and one of the most technically demanding. The system spans floor to floor and controls water infiltration across multi-story facades. It must also manage thermal movement and structural deflection while meeting the design's visual requirements. AGA matches each system to the building's structural and thermal requirements, and long-term performance depends on setting every anchor and seal correctly the first time.
At the Vorderman Motor Werks Volkswagen dealership in Fort Wayne, AGA installed a 2-1/2" x 10" aluminum curtain wall across three facades, with custom-engineered brackets that carry the exterior signage without interrupting the facade lines. At Drive & Shine on Illinois Road, the main curtain wall's height required steel-loaded vertical members, and glass-to-glass vertical joints keep the sightlines continuous across a custom patina green finish.
Storefront Entries

Storefront systems frame ground-level openings and entrances, where the building meets the people who use it. The framing anchors to the structure at floor and head, and it serves applications from retail fronts and dealership showrooms to medical lobbies and educational entrances. An entrance has to operate smoothly under daily traffic for years, so system selection accounts for wind load and thermal requirements, and flashing and waterproofing details at the sill are integrated from the start. Hardware selection includes ADA accessibility compliance.
Thermally broken storefront framing, such as the 2" x 4-1/2" system at Vorderman Motor Werks paired with 1" Clear Low-E insulated glass, helps keep glass-heavy spaces comfortable through Indiana summers and winters. As a Stanley Access Technologies partner, AGA also installs automatic door systems integrated with the storefront and entrance scope, keeping the entrance under one team.
Beyond the Primary Facade

Aluminum windows fill punched openings with the same precision as a full curtain wall, with thermally broken frames available for high-performance envelope applications. Glass specification and finish, along with fixed, projected, casement, or double-hung operation, are selected to suit the building and Indiana’s climate. Skylights bring daylight into lobbies and atriums from above, and their success depends on correctly detailing drainage and cold-climate condensation management from the start.

Aluminum panels complete the building envelope. Spandrel and rainscreen panel systems, including aluminum composite material and painted aluminum sheet panels, are installed as part of complete curtain wall and facade packages. Integrating solid panel infill with vision glass gives the building a single-source envelope, with the glass and opaque areas of the facade reading as one composition.
Fabrication and Installation

AGA’s aluminum work draws on in-house fabrication in Columbia City. Fabricating in-house allows tighter control over quality and lead times, and framing is built to confirmed field dimensions so it arrives on site ready to install. Mobile units support on-site installation, and crews complete aluminum and glass installations through every Midwest season, on projects across Northeast Indiana and the broader Midwest.
